About Me
I've always had a passion for games. My brothers, friends and I mainly played videogames but also diverse board games and card games like YuGiOh!, Billonario, Connect 4, etc.
We would often end up changing the rules, adapting them or just creating completely new games using their pieces/cards/assets. The Naruto board game we created (and soon lost) included huge maps and is still remembered by us as some sort of pinnacle of games (it probably wasn't too brilliant).
I was also very attracted to the editing tools in videogames (e.g. Lode Runner, Battle City, Bomberman 5, PES). As I grew up and gradually switched from consoles to PC games, I gained access to much more powerful tools. One of my favourites is the Warcraft 3 World Editor. It's super powerful and allows easy and fast creation of new experiences, while also providing many visual and sound assets.
Nowadays I'm exploring Unity as I really appreciate its wide array of tools, the diverse game types it can produce and it's huge community.
My secret love: Spreadsheets. I use them for everything. They help me visualize and compare data of characters, items or any other entities, which leads to better decisions in an attempt to build balanced and fair games.
